As for the coupling, the present DIR EN GREY challenged their debut single, "残-ZAN-", and created "Zan" and also letting loose its overwhelming existence and also debuting during the "TOUR09 ALL VISIBLE THINGS" tour, is the the studio take recording of "Shokubeni"!

Also, the DVD, which is only included in the First Press edition, is planned to contain videos of the studio recording of "Shokubeni" and other recording scenes!

2 more months until the release. Do not forget to prepare yourself to the confront the new DIR EN GREY's world-view!

I've heard that it is something along the lines of "An intense (or violent), dark burning within my heart"

...It could be really, REALLY heavy, or maybe a ballad.
I'm also curious, it's going to be really tough to follow Uroboros...I have faith though! (I mean, they are music gods, yah?)

In German I'd say:
"Die sengende Dunkelheit, die sich in dieser Brust mit Heftigkeit verfängt"

so in English:
"The torrid (scorching) darkness that becomes entangled (entwines) in this chest*, with violence (fierceness)"


*"mune" is chest but also means heart/soul. For me (Risu and Cammie both think it is "heart"), it is really "chest" because I guess it's the heart (within the chest) which is entangled by darkness and not the inside of the heart. But that's up to everyone's thought and feeling.

-ZAN- and Shokubeni (L) This is gonna be like... AMAZING! I can't wait to hear their post-Uroboros thing ... I'm kinda happy to see ZAN there, I mean, maybe it's just me but they seem to "avoid" showing themselves as part of the VK scene in the late 90'so I guess it's good they have re-recorder ZAN one of their first songs

I rekon its gonna be like vinushka, long ballad but with a few breakdowns, ZAN's gonna be heaby for sure!, Although I do have to admit, I rekon the single cover's seems half-assed for DEG. Nonetheless, freaking cant wait for this song! (ive been checking for the new pv sample everyday since mid october)

I wonder if its going to be sold anywhere online as a download? nor hearjapan or japanfiles have rights to sell dir en greys singles/albums. Itunes has uroboros but I dont know when they got it, hopefully they'll have it on the release day or shortly after. I'm going to actually buy the single, just don't have the money yet xD

Zan is really good made...
I though ZAN is hard enough !
And as I heard the information that Diru wanna remake ZAN .. I was very confused..
ZAN is after all an aggressiv song...

and well SHOKOBENI.. I really love to listen to SHOKOBENI SHOT IN ONE TAKE!! Kyos voice is really enviably! He can strikes all pitches and tones..
I never though that Kyo sings Shokobeni better than the old one...
I mean.. Shokobeni (old version) is really good enough.. .but the new one... PERFECT!
And Hagashisa to.. is a different song typ like the present songs ..
It rermember me a lil bit of Doukoku To Satrinu!
